Sales Details & Reservation Policy
Each KSF kid will be disbudded, tattooed, will have age-appropriate vaccinations administered, and their hooves trimmed. KSF health records and ADGA registration certificate* will be provided to the buyer at the time of pick-up along with a copy of the current feeding program (including a small supply of food the kid is eating). In addition, you will also be asked to sign a sales agreement at time of pick-up; it includes information on the animal that is being purchased and simply states that we can assure you the animal(s) is healthy at the time they leave our premises; however, due to stress factors (transporting, new environment, level of care, etc.) that may occur, we are unable to offer any further health guarantee of the animal(s) once they leave our property.
FYI - you will be provided a copy of the signed agreement for your records.

*The kid(s) will be registered prior to leaving, but unfortunately due to the increased
ADGA fees, this is a cost that will be passed onto the buyer.
The current registration fees* are as follows: Doe kids are $10, and Buck kids are $16;
this fee will be notated on the sales agreement as a registration fee paid.
Note: by registering kids prior to leaving saves you time and expense.
We also offer online transfer of purchased goats at buyer's expense.
*Registration and/or transfer fees are subject to change based on current ADGA fees/age of animal.
Note: we also offer registration with AGS at buyer's expense.
Naming of the KSF kid(s):
We allow the buyer to name each of the KSF kid(s) they purchase; however, we do have a particular
naming theme each year and ask that it be adhered to so that we can use it as a means of future reference.
If you are interested in reserving a Kindred Souls Farm kid from a particular breeding, please contact us to have your name put on the reservation list for that pairing.

Due to past situations, a $50 non-refundable deposit is now required to be added to our waitlist.
This policy comes as a result of people telling us they want a goat kid(s) and are sending the money
within 'x' number of days, then the deposit is never received and ultimately, we find out they no longer
want the goat kid and in the meantime, there were other interested parties in which we had to turn away.
So simply stated - if you want the goat, make the deposit.
Once kids are born you will be contacted to make your decision; once you have made your choice,
an additional $50 non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your reservation until pick up of goat(s),
and MUST be received by KSF within seven calendar days of notification.
(The initial $50 non-refundable deposit will go towards the price of the animal)
If you are not on the waitlist and wish to reserve a kid once they are born, a $100 non-refundable
deposit will be required to secure the reservation.
Please be aware that paid waitlist reservations will be given first choice of kid(s).
Please note: Kindred Souls Farm may retain any kids of their choosing, regardless of reservation list.
The deposit can be made via Cash, a Personal Check, Money Order, or by utilizing PayPal*, Venmo*, or Zelle.
HOWEVER, if using PayPal you must send payment via the Friends and Family option from your checking account and unless you are willing the pay the associated fees I incur,
do not use a credit or debit card.
NOTE:
*USING A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD WITH PAYPAL WILL RESULT
IN A 5% FEE ADDED AT THE TIME OF TRANSACTION(S)
(Balance will be due at time of pick-up)

We determine the price of the kids based on a combination of genetics, LA scores (of parents), etc.; kids out of a First Freshener are generally at our base price (and unless they are just outstanding, buck kids from FF will go as wethers).
If you are looking for 'just a pet', wethers are suggested as they are less costly.
Doe kids start at $350
Buck kids start at $300*
Wethers are $150
(or a pair for $250, additional discount given for three or more wethers).
*Note: bucklings not reserved by six weeks of age will potentially be wethered (at appropriate time)
Bucklings reserved for Herd Sires require a 50% non-refundable deposit by the time they are six weeks old
> > > PICK UP OF KIDS < < <
Doe kids are to be picked up by eight weeks of age.*
Buck kids going as herd sires must be picked up by eight weeks of age, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Wethers can be picked up at nine or ten weeks of age.*
* NOTE: doe kids and wethers MUST be picked up by ten weeks of age (if pickup date falls during the week
and that is not feasible for you, the weekend immediately following the pick-up date will be acceptable).
IF KIDS ARE NOT PICKED UP WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER THE AGREED UPON DATE, YOU ARE RELINQUISHING YOUR RIGHT AS THE PURCHASER AND ALL MONIES PAID TO THAT POINT WILL BE FORFEITED TO KINDRED SOULS FARM IN CONSIDERATION OF CARE AND BOARD OF KID(S).
NOTE: KSF reserves the right to request references (veterinary and/or otherwise)
PRIOR to any animal leaving the premises.
~ Veterinary health certificates are available upon request and at the buyer's expense ~
By making the required non-refundable deposit, you are agreeing and entering into as well as abiding by the details and terms outlined on this Sales Details and Reservation Policy webpage AND the electronic .pdf version of the sales agreement (accessible using the link below).
