Sales Details & Reservation Policy
Each KSF kid will be disbudded, tattooed, will have age appropriate vaccinations administered, and their hooves trimmed. KSF health records and ADGA registration certificate* will be provided to the buyer at the time of pick-up along with a copy of the current feeding program (including a small supply of food the kid is eating). In addition, you will also be asked to sign a purchase agreement at time of pick-up; it includes information on the animal that is being purchased and simply states that we can assure you the animal(s) is healthy at the time they leave our premises; however, due to stress factors (transporting, new environment, level of care, etc.) that may occur, we are unable to offer any further health guarantee of the animal(s) once they leave our property.
FYI - you will be provided a copy of the signed agreement for your records.

*The kid(s) will be registered prior to leaving, but unfortunately due to the increased
ADGA fees, this is a cost that will be passed onto the buyer.
The current registration fees* are as follows: Doe kids are $8.50 and Buck kids are $14.50;
this fee will be notated on the sales agreement as a registration fee paid.
Note: by registering kids prior to leaving saves you time and expense ($2 per animal).
We also offer online transfer of purchased goats at buyer's expense.
*Registration fees are subject to change based on current ADGA fees
Naming of the KSF kid(s):
We allow the buyer to name each of the KSF kid(s) they purchase; however, we do have a particular
naming theme each year and ask that it be adhered to so that we can use it as a means of future reference.
If you are interested in reserving a Kindred Souls Farm kid from a particular breeding, please contact us to have your name put on the reservation list for that pairing. You will be notified once the kids are born and at that time the required $50 non-refundable deposit is due immediately to secure your reservation*.
*Until deposit is received, the goat kid will remain available for sale. What does this mean to you?
It means that if you want the goat kid, the deposit must be received immediately in order to hold the animal for you - until then, the animal will remain available to the first person providing the necessary deposit.
This policy comes as a result of people telling us they want a goat kid(s) and are sending the money
within 'x' amount of days, then the deposit is never received and ultimately we find out they no longer
want the goat kid and in the meantime, there were other interested parties in which we had to turn away.
So simply stated - if you want the goat kid, send the deposit.
Please note: Kindred Souls Farm may retain any kids of their choosing, regardless of reservation list.
The deposit can be made via Cash, a Personal Check, Money Order, or by utilizing PayPal*, Venmo*, or Zelle.....
HOWEVER, if using PayPal you must send payment via the Friends and Family option from your checking account and unless you are willing the pay the associated fees I incur,
do not use a credit or debit card.
NOTE:
*USING A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD WITH PAYPAL WILL RESULT
IN A 5% FEE ADDED AT THE TIME OF TRANSACTION(S)
(Balance, in the form of cash or money order, will be due at time of pick-up)

We determine the price of the kids based on a combination of genetics, LA scores (of parents), etc.; kids out of a First Freshener are generally at our base price (and unless they are just outstanding, buck kids from FF will go as wethers).
If you are looking for 'just a pet', wethers are suggested as they are less costly.
Doe kids start at $350; buck kids start at $300; and wethers are $150.
Note: bucklings not reserved by six weeks of age will potentially be wethered (at appropriate time)
Bucklings reserved for Herd Sires require a 50% non-refundable deposit by the time they are six weeks old
Please note: kids must be picked up by ten weeks of age (bucklings as herd sires must be picked up by eight weeks of age); otherwise, an additional $5 per day will be added to the price of the kid for 'room and board' (unless prior arrangements were discussed).
NOTE: KSF reserves the right to request references (veterinary and/or otherwise)
PRIOR to any animal leaving the premises.
~ Veterinary health certificates are available upon request and at the buyer's expense ~
